Like when were they turned, what was that experience like for them, were they able to finish their education? Stuff like that. So, if I were in charge of admissions there I would look at a few different factors. This is just a theory I've been working on for a story I'm doing. I'd say it would take until past what their natural lifetime would be for them to start maturing normally. Some may know what's happened and have someone to guide them, others may be alone and clueless. Each new vampire will have a different experience though. So they continue to act that age because they and others see them that way. Also, they've stopped aging and people treat them the age they look. It takes time to come to terms with something like that. They've died, probably pretty traumatically and have permanently changed. My theory about vampires is that there's probably a bit of arrested development, to a certain point. I'd like to know what the admissions criteria for the school is beyond being supernatural. I think I read somewhere that they want the teenage vampires to be actual teenagers this time around.
